We women all love to take care of all our stuff. Jewellery is the best part of our styling. So taking care of jewellery can be a little tricky. But now you can clean your jewellery at home easily. Some of the household items can clean jewellery well. So have a look at those household products and how to clean them.
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 – 3 tablespoons of lemon
Mix all the ingredients in the bowl. Add your jewellery. Leave it for 10 to 15 mins. If all the dullness is vanished then rinse it with cold water, if not then use a soft brush and gently rub on the jewellry for 2-3 mins. Now your jewellery will shine like the new ones.
- A soft towel
Apply toothbrush to all over your jewellery. Gently rub your jewellery with toothbrush. After 2-3 mins of rubbing, rinse off with cold water. Repeat the process if required. After rub with a soft towel.
3. Turmeric (Only For Gold Jewellery)
- Warm water
Add 2-3 tablespoon turmeric to warm water. Add the jewellery to the mixture. Leave it for 10-15 mins. After rinse well. Now your gold jewellery will shine.
4. Alcohol – Vodka, Tequila, Beer
- Soft cloth
Add drinks to bowl. With a soft cloth, rub drinks to jewellery. Leave it for 5 mins. After rinse throughly with cold water.
5. Tamarind Paste (recommended only for gold jewellery)
- Tamarind Paste
Add tamarind to boiling water. After a little cooling down, add your jewellery. Leave in for 5 mins, if not cleaned, rub with a tender toothbrush. After the process, rinse throughly with cold water.
Ketchup might sound weird, but as in nature it’s highly acidic. So try this.
- 2-3 tablespoon ketchup
- Soft cloth
Dip the cloth in ketchup. Rub it on jewellery. Leave on for 2-3 mins. Rinse throught with cold water.
